To do Before Check Up

BEFORE CHECK UP

It is important to follow the recommendations below before the examination in order to obtain exact check-up results.

You should stay hungry up to 12 hours before your appointment time, do not eat anything, do not drink anything other than water, and do not consume foods containing cigarettes and caffeine.

One day before the Check Up, do not consume raw vegetables, legumes, fruits, milky foods, carbonated drinks. Do not drink an alcohol.

If you have E-test ECG testing within your Check Up scope; bring your sports outfit, sneakers, towel and spare clothing with you.

If you have abdominal ultrasound in your Check Up scope; it is needed to be hungry and your bladder should be full, because of that we advise you to start drinking water according to the guidance of our Check Up consultants and not urinate until the procedure is done.

Do not wear ornaments.

Check-up should not coincide with the menstruation days of women.

Do not apply any cream to your body if your echocardiogram will be taken.

Do not exercise on the day of for check-up.

Drug use before check up

BEFORE CHECK UP

Please discontinue the following drugs no later than 3 days prior to check up to achieve accurate check-up results.

Cut off your vitamins, herbal medicines and nutritional supplements 48 hours before you arrive at Check Up.

If you have drugs you should take in the morning, do not use before your blood tests. Do not forget to bring your medications used for chronic diseases (such as blood pressure, cholesterol) to take with you after the end of your tests.

If you are regularly taking aspirin and your check-up package includes “fecal occult blood test”, discontinue aspirin 5 days before.

Postpone your appointment before check up

Please postpone your check-up appointment if you experience any one or more of the following events below;

If you have infection signs such as temperature, weakness, sore throat in the morning.

If menstruation has started;

If you are on an antibiotic regimen;

If you have taken alcohol within the last 3 days.

Do not forget to say!

If you have blood pressure, sugar and other chronic diseases, please tell your doctor before Check Up.

If you are pregnant or if there is a possibility to be pregnant, please tell your doctor before starting the Check Up.

Please bring your drugs, with names and dosages, you are using and tell these to your doctor.

If you have a Check Up results before a year and ongoing diseases, do not forget to say them before Check Up.
